POST FACIAL
TREATMENT
INSTRUCTIONS
After receiving a facial, dermaplaning, or microdermabrasion treatment at The Office, it is important to follow the post-treatment policy and instructions outlined here:
1. Professional Guidance: Our esthetician will provide you with specific post-treatment instructions tailored to your individual needs. It is important to carefully follow these instructions to ensure proper healing, maximize results, and minimize the risk of complications.

2. Sun Protection: Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure following the treatment. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher, even if you are staying indoors. Sunscreen should be applied at least 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every two hours, or as directed by our esthetician.

3. Moisturization: Hydrate your skin properly after the treatment. Use a gentle, non-irritating moisturizer to maintain the skin's moisture balance. Avoid products containing harsh chemicals, fragrances, or exfoliating ingredients for at least 24-48 hours, or as advised by our esthetician.

4. Avoid Touching and Picking: Refrain from touching, picking, or scratching the treated area to prevent infection, irritation, or interference with the healing process. Let the skin heal naturally and avoid applying excessive pressure or friction.

5. Makeup Application: If possible, avoid wearing makeup immediately after the treatment to allow the skin to breathe and heal. If necessary, use only mineral-based or non-comedogenic makeup products that are less likely to clog pores and cause irritation.

6. Cleansing Routine: Follow a gentle cleansing routine after the treatment. Use a mild cleanser recommended by our esthetician to cleanse your face, avoiding harsh scrubs or exfoliants that can aggravate the skin. Pat the skin dry with a soft towel, avoiding any vigorous rubbing.

7. Avoid Excessive Heat: For the first 24-48 hours following the treatment, avoid hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and intense physical activities that may cause excessive sweating. Heat can irritate the skin and interfere with the healing process.

8. Side Effects: It is normal to experience mild side effects such as redness, sensitivity, or slight flaking following these treatments. However, if you experience severe or prolonged side effects beyond what was explained during your consultation, please contact our esthetician for further guidance.

9. Follow-Up Appointments: Depending on the treatment plan and desired results, our esthetician may recommend a series of sessions. It is important to schedule and attend any follow-up appointments as advised to achieve the best possible outcomes.

If you have any questions, concerns, or unexpected reactions following the treatment, PLEASE reach out to your esthetician. We are here to support you on your journey to healthier, more radiant skin.

Shield your skin from direct sunlight for at least one week following the peel.
-
Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and reapply every two hours, especially when outdoors.
